Home Seller / Buyer Roadmap

Home Seller Road Map

Selling your home is one of the most important financial decisions you'll make. It’s likely you have an emotional investment in your home and selling involves a lot of moving parts. As your real estate agents, we're here to guide you through it.

  1. Establish a Price

Review comparable listings and consider factors such as location, economy, and amenities.

  2. Prepare to List

Declutter, clean, and consider home staging. Get professional photos taken for the listing.

  3. Marketing Your Home

We will list it on the MLS. Use social media, email, signage, and networking to find buyers.

  4. Showings

An agent will schedule showings. Stow away valuables, clean, and vacate during showings.

  5. Offer & Negotiations

We will talk through each offer's terms. You can accept, reject, or counter the offer.

  6. Under Contract

Once you accept, you're under contract! Complete repairs and fulfill all contract terms.

  7. Pre-Closing

The buyer will order an inspection, appraisal, confirm repairs, and do a final walkthrough.

  8. Closing

Sign and review all closing documents and hand over the keys. Congratulations!

Home Buyer Road Map

Buying a home is one of the most significant financial commitments you'll make in your lifetime. It's an emotional journey filled with excitement and anticipation as you search for the perfect place to call home. As your real estate agents, we're here to support and guide you every step of the way.

  1. Get Pre-Approved
Meet with a lender to find the right mortgage. Share pre-approval letter with an agent.

  2. Find an Agent
We are local market experts and will work within your budget and wishlist.

  3. Find Your Home
We will find you some suitable options and set up showings for you to view.

  4. Offer
When you find your dream home, we will submit an offer and negotiate the terms of the contract.

  5. Inspections
Complete inspections on the home with a professional. Negotiate any repairs before closing.

  6. Appraisal
An appraiser will determine if the home is worth the price you agreed on. A lender cannot lend out more than a home is worth.

  7. Pre-Closing
Confirm repairs are completed, do a final walkthrough, and gather down payment funds via cashier's check.

  8. Closing
Sign and review all closing documents and receive your key!
